WOLD Center for Youth Ministries Update

The renovations for the Youth Center are almost completed! With a very special gift along with the Polly Turner Memorial Funds we were able to purchase all the furnishings and equipment to complete the room as planned.

We will hold a special Blessing service in May along with a party and band jam session. This will be the official opening for our Youth Center.

Confirmation Camp

Grades 6-8: - This week of camp is scheduled for JUNE 22-27th. We would like to have all our confirmands signed up and you should do so NOW!

This is for those WHO WILL ENTER CONFIRMATION, those who are presently in confirmation, AND those who just completed confirmation.

This year, Pastor Tony will be at camp and participating in all programming and leadership.

Cost for this week is $330 for 6 days.

TNT (Thursday Night Tailgaters)
4th, 5th & 6th graders

We are a friendly group that packs a lot of fun into the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. We get together from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM for food, fun, fellowship and Bible Study. We play some outrageous games and laugh till we cry.

Join us on the first Monday of every month from 6:00pm – 7:30pm for food, fun, fellowship and Bible Study. We play some wild games and enjoy making new friends. Come hungry and ready to play.

ELCA National Youth Gathering

It’s official! The next ELCA National Youth Gathering will be in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 22-26, 2009.

The theme is Jesus Justice Jazz and it draws from the rich faith history, diverse cultures, and arts of New Orleans. It will stretch our understandings of what it means to live in relationship and service with each other in the manner of Christ—for life!

Start planning this event in your family schedule. This one event is perhaps the single most important event of your spiritual growth in high school! You don’t want to miss it!
