BEING CENTERED IN CHRIST
BEING CHRIST-LIKE

STEWARDSHIP AS A LIFESTYLE

The mission of our congregation states:
We are a Christian Community forgiven by God’s grace, enlightened by God’s Word, chosen in Baptism, nourished at the Lord’s Table, fulfilled by God’s promise; and being a loving community of God’s people, we worship, learn, witness, and serve together.

Stewardship is more than giving an annual gift to the budget each year. Stewardship is a lifestyle where time, talents, and possessions play a direct role in God’s purpose of the Christian Church.

In the light of stewardship, and sharing God’s gifts of creation, how can you be a better steward for Christ in:

  • Serving others?
  • Providing the Good News of Jesus to the community?
  • Serving God?
  • Being a resource to the church community?

We are one in the body of Christ sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with others and Praising God for all God has done and continues to do.

Stewardship is a lifestyle that is year round, every year. God has given us everything, including life itself.

What should our response to God be as a church?

What is important to you as far as:

  • Your church?
  • The congregation?
  • As God’s creation?

What values do you want your church to demonstrate for the future of God’s church?

How should the congregation invest / use the gifts it is given through stewardship?

Sharing your faith and your experiences with others at St Olaf and the Bridge is part of being a good steward!
