In March we will begin our Spring Quarter learning about Jesus' Crucifixion and Resurrection.

Week Day Adult Bible Study

Each Wednesday morning at 9:00am in the Fireside Room, Pastor Tony leads an in depth Bible Study on the Gospel of Luke. The scripture is studied both historically and critically, comparing other Gospels with Luke’s story. It’s NEVER too late to join us!

Adult Education

Classes are held each Sunday at 9:25am in the Fireside room during children’s Sunday School time. PARENTS bring your kids to Sunday school and attend this class at the same time! The Lutheran Course teaches fundamentals of Lutheranism in 7 sessions. Great for new Lutherans, existing Lutherans, and anyone in between. This course will be lead by Pastor Tony and other various Educational Leaders.

Confirmation

Confirmation is a process by which people re-affirm the vows made by their parents or themselves at their baptism.

Classes continue each Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm in the Wold Youth Center.

Our program here at St Olaf is an intensive two year faith study geared primarily toward the seventh and eighth grade classes, but can be adapted to meet the needs of those youth who need to affirm their faith.

There are many facets that are studied including the Bible (both Old and New Testaments), prayer, Luther’s Small Catechism (including the Lord’s Prayer, the 10 Commandments, Apostle’s Creed, Baptism, Communion, Office of the Keys), worship life in the church, the meaning of the birth, the cross and the resurrection and learning about God’s grace.
